I wanted to do a little summary of sorts. For those of you that have read my book Free bird. All of the writing on this site is a continuation of insights since its publication. The extreme change that I went through in the book has continued on with no end in sight. It’s all reflected in the writing, whether it be the blogs, or the poetry and quote section. Though the specifics of my path will be quite different than yours. The essence of the writing is universal, and displays commonality that everyone can relate to. The message is consistent, with it centering on self worth and how it effects all of your life experience. It’s approached in many different ways for relatability.
One thing that continues to become crystal clear is what really matters in life. It’s quite fascinating to look over the past year at how my viewpoint has changed. As I said in the book, there came a turning point after the figurative tornado leveled everything in my life and swept me away. The turning point was all about going within, and discovering love and real appreciation for myself. The tornado slowed at times but it never stopped. The month of May in Greece was ridiculous, and many other points that never made it into the book. The point is, this sort of upheaval gives some real perspective. What I have come to know is, with a solid foundation within, there comes a real desire and drive to share it.
There is really nothing I love more than connecting with someone in a supportive way. It can vary greatly to their level of receptivity. When its open and free of hesitation, there’s nothing like it. Like a window to divine connection, it’s very uplifting and the energy is awesome. Generally these connections are limited to one, or potentially several. Inevitably though, as I continue to expand the once promising connections drift away. This has brought one thing into view very clearly. Although I am perfectly content within myself, there is one thing that has clearly become of value. Meeting my depth of relatability is now unknown to me. I have written about this before, yet now it seems more alive than ever.
If there was a word to attach as a product of my process, it would be appreciation. Through the extremes of this path, an ever brighter appreciation for life continues. Inevitably I experience the extreme opposite of what’s valued, and then the miracle of receiving. No short cuts. Even if I know during the difficulty that all is well and it’s going to lead to great value. I’m not spared the emotional impacts. Grounding is an ever present reality. It requires attention to what’s really important, and there is only one, and that’s freedom. Freedom has only one condition. And it won’t allow you to forget it. Freedom is true, only in the willingness to let go of anything or anyone. It seems a harsh reality, but in truth, only in this way can you truly live. Here, nothing holds you from expressing your full potential.
Within the framework of living in this way, you won’t be alone or without things or adventure. It just takes time for the world to align to your new energy vibration. It’s in this time of feeling a bit distant, that the ground work for real appreciation is paved. So in closing, my viewpoint for the highest value will always be myself. The miracle of this covers the whole world around me. This is where the teachings that grace our world echo the idea of oneness. Truly the world is a self portrait. You create the world you live in, through how you view yourself. We all possess the skills to become great artists. And there is no greater master piece than the one in the mirror. Allow this portrait to be revealed to you. You need only find the willingness to see it…
