It can be said that there is no greater success in life than showing up for yourself, as yourself, and within yourself. Fully reaching the depths within, in the open heart of acceptance. The world is geared to do the exact opposite. Surviving in a world where even your own mind is against you, is truly an accomplishment. But there is no trophy for survival. Whether it’s ten years or one hundred. Without the freedom to be, to feel comfort within, and express yourself without fear, extra time in prison is meaningless. Oddly though, this view point is held only by the few that want more, and are willing to change.
Most cling to there prison bars in hopes the jailer will set them free. Unknown to the masses, the jailer is themselves. Even if presented with the obviousness of self imprisonment. Few will welcome the change and discomfort felt in letting go. Much easier to point the finger in every direction except in the mirror. The drive to be comfortable stands as the biggest obstacle. Dealing with the depths of hardened beliefs and repressed emotions, is a difficult and messy experience. But it’s what holds you prisoner to your own beauty within. Really though, it’s all very understandable. You simply can’t know what you don’t know.
We all know one thing without fail. We know that somethings not quite right. We don’t know what, but we are going to figure it out, in the world of promise. Why not, get out there and spread your wings, travel the world, and make a mark. It’s what life is all about. Far be it from me to say it’s in anyway wrong. My only message is, if you’re held to a life of trying to feel or become good enough, the world can’t help you. Nothing can give you true comfort within. It’s naturally there as self-judgment is released. The world bows to infinite possibility at the feet of the free at heart. Judgment tightens, and cares for the world of fear. Play by the rules and ride the rollercoaster of emotional turmoil, with a promise of someday.
Ultimately it’s a choice of comfort vs freedom. The reliability of staying in comfort, or stepping into the unknown. There is an unwritten rule that gathers the fearful into compliance. Needing to be special, to stand out. And the deck is stacked against you. Firstly, you now can’t afford to be wrong. Second, you are now more or less in competition with everyone else. And third, what you do and accomplish is now attached to your sense of worth. Now you are seeing how there is no freedom to feel comfort within, when your worth is something that needs earned.
Everything I write or speak about revolves around one thing. Your whole life experience is in complete alignment with how you feel about yourself. Your feeling within, is your whole world revealed, in a continuous life experience. This is your prison, or your greatest potential. It’s none negotiable in its effects, but it’s also a freedom we have, to feel how ever we want. Life will color your world according to your own acceptance. Our purity of heart is given without condition. Your worth stands above the possibility of change, and beyond the reach of your own judgment. Freedom lives in the heart that knows, innocence radiates your only true reflection…
